BLUE RIDGE PRIDE FESTIVAL WEEK EVENTS

•THURSDAY,SEPTEMBER 26- Movies & Mixer. A special movie Sordid Lives followed by cocktails at Aloft Hotel. Place: Fine Arts Theater Biltmore Avenue downtown. Time: 7:30 PM Price $20 (included 1 cocktail at Aloft) Price helps fund Blue Ridge Pride Community Fund. Tickets available at Box Office or online.
•FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 BLUE RIDGE PRIDE BEER DAY ASHEVILLE TOUR –A special Asheville beer scene tour through Beerspoke travel will be offered with beer tasting, behind-the-scenes tours, food and lots more. A special Blue Ridge Pride discount makes this the perfect way to start your Pride celebration. Tour begins at 11:30 Am and ends at 6:30 PM for tickets and more information see https://beerspoketravel.com/blueridgepride
• FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 - BLUE RIDGE PRIDE FESTIVAL STORY SLAM. A different kind of evening with individual stories from various community member identities and age groups. Place: Block off Biltmore 39 South Market Street Time: 7 PM Free admission. See Line Up •FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 - Youth Outright /PFLAG Picnic in the Park. Our LGBTQ youth and their adult counterparts come together for a special time in the park preceding Pride Festival and everyone is invited to join them. There is no charge, bring a chair and come early for the best spots. Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Place: Main Stage at Pack Park in front of Courthouse. •SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28- WELCOMING WNC PROCESSION... It's not a march, it's not a parade; it is a Procession. It is smaller in size, but big on impact and everyone is invited to join in or stand on the sidelines as we proceed through Downtown on Patton Ave to the Park. Time: 10 AM-11 AM. •SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 - BLUE RIDGE FESTIVAL The annual celebration of diversity in our mountains is held downtown Asheville at Pack Square Park. The festival stretches from the Vance Monument to City County Plaza and the Festival Stage. Beginning at 11:000 AM. and ending at 7:00 PM with over 200 vendors, food, 3 Stages of entertainment, specialty acts and lots more. There is no charge, so plan to come, spend the day and celebrate. •SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28- BLUE RIDGE PRIDE FESTIVAL AFTER PARTIES. Look to the calendar of events for various venues through out Asheville beginning at 7:00 PM and going till 2:00 AM
•SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, – ASHEVILLE DRAG BRUNCH – Asheville’s monthly fundraising benefit this month going to Blue Ridge Pride. Place: Banks Avenue Bar 32 Banks Avenue (South Slope) Time 11 AM to 2 PM
Tickets $20 includes show and brunch.
•SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 - POST FESTIVAL BRUNCH. Join others as they finish Pride together for a special brunch including a silent auction of artwork. Brunch is off menu. Place: Tupelo Honey Café 12 College St. downtown. Time: 9 AM-12PM

We expect record numbers of visitors to the Festival this year; so,
to help make your day more enjoyable, we have prepared a number of information downloads to print out in advance.
FESTIVAL GUIDE - Here is a guide to the area downtown that will be filled with booths, food and entertainment stages. Look at it in advance, download or pick up a copy at the festival.
PARKING GUIDE - Plan your day in advance by parking so you can get out easily. Note, Asheville is a very busy city with tourists and close spaces are a premium. If you are going to spend the day, you may want to park farther away and walk to the park. See the parking suggestions link above or download the pdf below.
FESTIVAL ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE- Part of the enjoyment of Blue Ridge Pride Festival is the entertainment. Here is a guide with the acts, times and stages they will be performing on for you to pre-plan your times at the festival and not miss your favorite act.
